Our second grade was invited to Matthew's State Forest to celebrate Earth Day. They enjoyed learning about the food chain, water cycle, farm life, creek habitats, trees and other plants, local wildlife, and decorating shirts. The day ended with the reading of THE LORAX and a visit from Smokey the Bear. It was a fun filled day.
